Cube Drop!

This is a Tetris-style block game.

It is where you as the player must complete lines to score points and prevent your tower from reaching the top, leading to a game over.

I plan to make this game fit its theme more in the future and make it more unique, but this is the prototype for now.

There are a few bugs in this game, where in which, lines don’t always complete, double or triple lines aren’t accepted as a score, and the players highest score isn’t saved. These are things that I will make sure to update in this prototype very soon.

This Game was made for the Falling block Game Jam, with the theme ‘Analog Memory’ In Mind.

Key Features:

• Game over when tower reaches the top row.
• Increasing difficulty over time.
• Small animation when lines clear to make clears satisfying.
• Score System.
• Accurate grid & collision detection.

Controls:

• Use the Arrow Keys and WASD to Move the blocks.
• Space Bar – To Rotate Blocks.
• ESC to quit the game at any time.
